Facilities include, ensuite double bedroom with kingsize bed, living room with log burner and a well equipped kitchen, leading out to a private courtyard. We are 6 miles from the cathedral city of Ripon, Fountains Abbey and the market town of Masham and located in a popular walking and cycling area.

With eye catching views of the large garden and surrounding countryside, inside is cosy with a wood burning stove in the sitting room, and the bedroom tucked into the upper body of the cottage.

We look forward to welcoming you to our renovated Cow Byre just a short drive from Ripon. Separate to our main home, and having wonderful views, guests can visit nearby Fountains abbey, Brimham rocks, Grassington and lots of other lovely places of interest, as well as nearby walks. We have used high quality fittings throughout from Loaf seating, beautiful light fittings, Sophie Conran crockery, SMEG kettle and toaster, as well as featuring art by a local artist David Stead.

The End Place - A romantic hideaway for two

The End Place is a self-contained cottage adjoining Moorhouse Cottage. Downstairs is open plan, comprising a fully equipped kitchen and a living area with wood burning stove. A glass wall ensures uninterrupted views across Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, as well as starry-night skyscapes. Upstairs opens out into a magical, fairy-lit, vaulted bedroom with a king size brass bed adorned with crisp linen and includes en suite with shower.
