Welcome to The Farmhouse by Yorkshire Escapes. A stunning, secluded, recently renovated farmhouse in the heart of a country estate on the outskirts of Long Marston, 7 miles from York and 16 miles from Harrogate. The house has a large kitchen/Dining room with separate Sitting Room and cloakroom. Access from the Kitchen to a large terrace with hot tub, outdoor seating and large garden. Upstairs are 4 double bedrooms with 2 ensuite bathrooms and family bathroom. Hot tub hire included in price.

The Stables

Since converting our old stables it has been very popular with people visiting York and Harrogate which are both 20 minutes away.We are lucky to have some lovely local pubs/ restaurants in the nearby villages (10mins away) Within half an hour you can be in the Dales or the Yorkshire Moors - walking, visiting a National Trust property, or sampling a local pub or tearoom. The Stables are clean, cosy and comfortable, with modern, light rooms. The views overlook farmland - beautiful in the evenings.

Located in the Courtyard at Skipbridge Farm , No 3 the Stables is a one bedroomed cottage with a spacious lounge and original wooden beams . The cottage has a flat screen TV and DVD player and has a modern kitchen and bathroom with shower .All the rooms are on one level .There is ample parking in the courtyard for guests. The cottage has Wifi and a wood burning stove. We are approx 20 minutes from the centre of York, and a short drive away we have lovely local pubs that serve great food .

The brick-built annexe is detached from the main house allowing privacy and a large garden area for dogs to enjoy.
