Carr Cottage is a characterful 19th century mill workers' dwelling situated in the heart of the Pennines in the beautiful Luddenden Valley with a multitude of walks and footpaths. Close to Halifax and its historic Piece Hall or Hebden Bridge with its vibrant arts and crafts scene. We are dog friendly with excellent walks for dogs and their people. Dogs must not be left unattended on the during your stay. Carr Cottage is cycle friendly with classic road or off road routes right rom the doorstep.

We offer bikes, many country walks, and the excellent water comes from an aquifer (no chemical treatment). Ideally situated for miles upon miles of the most scenic country walking. 2 minutes drive from Todmorden centre, 10 minutes from Hebden Bridge centre, 45 minutes from Manchester City Centre or 1 hour from Leeds. Located on a main train and bus route you can get to us from any direction! We have a bus stop 50 metres away and the train station is a 12 minute walk.
