Portreath is a village and fishing port on the north coast of Cornwall. Portreath is about three miles northwest of Redruth and has a harbour and is a Sandy beach cove. Portreath has several pubs that serve tasty food and local drinks. There is a bakery, corner shop, several take always and a few cosy cafes too that serve drinks, cakes and light lunches. There are 2 bedrooms. Dogs allowed on beach most of year but between 1st July and 30th August can only go on there b4 10am and after 6pm.

Cosy Cornish Woodland Retreat

Escape reality in this thoughtfully converted Woodland retreat, in the renowned and secluded 40 acre Pendarves bluebell woods. Near the historic mining town of Camborne, we are a short 20 minute walk from the mainline train station (6 by taxi). A plentiful supply of local attractions, reached most easily by those with their own vehicle. St Ives (13 miles), Falmouth (15 miles), Penzance (20 miles). Sadly we do not allow pets and due to the nature of the site, it is not wheelchair friendly.

1 Cliff Cottage, Portloe is a recently renovated fisherman's cottage with a large terrace and spectacular views of the harbour and out to sea. The timeless village has been the setting for many films and TV dramas including About Time, Poldark and the Wild West. The South West Coast Path is right on your doorstep and St Mawes, Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Caerhays etc are all nearby. Alternatively decide to just relax, pour yourself a glass of wine and let the world turn a little!

The Lifeboat

This unique glamping unit has been crafted here at Rosevidney Farm over the past 18months. She is a former oil industry escape craft and when she came her in 2019 was still fully functioning with engine, seatbelts, emergency supplies etc. Now she sits in our Glamping meadow alongside our Safari Tents and Russian Truck. The lifeboat will sleep four in comfort with a King-size Bed and twin singles. There is an ensuite shower and loo, central heating as well as a handcrafted wood burning stove

It sits nestled within palm trees of the beautifully tendered cornish garden of Sandyacres House, tucked away off a little, quiet lane which you can use to access all the joys of Cornwall. You’ll love our place because of the boutique luxury ambiance, the peace and quiet, 12 acres of outdoors space with a pool, serene lake, free range chickens and a fire pit. At night you can snuggle down with the wood burner lit, the underfloor heating warming your toes, before you slip into the comfy bed. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and well behaved dogs.
