Unwind and relax in this historic gem of a home. There has been a mill on this site since 1298 and in 2019 we completely refurbished the current 18th century milll to a very high standard to ensure a truly comfortable and magical getaway. You'll be surrounded by trees, bird song and the constant sound of running water and the sight of our resident heron by the waterfall. The mill lies in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Daphne du Maurier country, on the Fowey estuary.

The Blue Bee is a cosy Grade II listed cottage with all the charm of a traditionally built Cornish home, freshly renovated and lovingly restored. Located a stone’s throw from the centre of St Columb Major, a small medieval town, the cottage has easy access to both the north and south coasts, making exploring Cornwall very easy. Watergate Bay, Mawgan Porth and Bedruthan Steps are all just a short drive away.

Little Brightwater is an easy 15 min. walk from the harbour along the beautiful seafront. It’s a cosy, self-contained 2-storey guest suite, rather like a little cottage, attached to the side of our house, with its own front door & sea views from the bedroom & sitting room. It’s just 100 yards from the SW Coast Path (& right opposite Looe Island) in Hannafore, which is a very peaceful & sought-after area of Looe. There’s free parking on our street, close to the house.

The Cottage at Trevelyan -rural Cornwall

The Cottage is within the grounds of our home, Trevelyan, in a beautiful rural part of south east Cornwall. You will have your own walled garden area. It is a converted farm building, and we have attempted to make the best use of the space. The shower room is compact but perfectly adequate, there is a bedroom, kitchen/dining room and the living room has folding doors to bring the outside in! Nestled in a valley in South East Cornwall, staying at Manor offers the chance for a peaceful escape with 300 acres to explore, safe spaces for children to play, a trampoline in the orchard, and therapeutic massage in our treatment room.

Penlowen (run by myself, a marine biologist and my musician husband) provides affordable eco-friendly holiday accommodation for people who wish to enjoy Cornwall's coastline and gorgeous oldy-worldy village of Polperro.

Take it easy at this tranquil getaway. A compact base within walking distance to several beaches and the coastal town of Looe. Within minutes, you can be walking on the South West coast path, enjoying breath taking views towards Looe Island. Looe is a popular holiday destination with shops, cafes, and a variety of restaurants. Although parking is available at the property, it can also be accessed by a walk from Looe’s train station or by bus.
