Our 2 bed house is an end of terrace property built in the 1870's. Originally built to house the workers at Terry's Chocolate factory … which sadly is no longer making chocolate! We have decorated and furnished the house to provide a clean, comfortable and cosy environment to help you relax and enjoy your trip to York.

Our house has a warm home away from home feeling. Situated on a quiet street near the river, just outside the historic city walls and York Minster .Our house is in the perfect location to explore all the cultural and historic attractions the City of York has to offer. It's only a 5-minute walk to one of the main streets in York and to the walls which encircle the city. We welcome dogs but there is an additional charge of £25.

Bright, sunny, studio, 10 mins stroll from the station & Minster. 5 mins walk from Roots restaurant. Bike storage inside. We are Lisa and Colin and we love meeting people. We provide cafeterie coffee, Yorkshire tea. Although we both work full time we try to be flexible with dropping bags early. Just ask and we'll do our best to let you drop bags early and collect them late so you can make the best of your time away.
