This cottage is all about the view! Beach-side location at the base of the 199 steps - perfect for exploring the beautiful historic town of Whitby. Browse in the eclectic independent shops and sample the finest seafood in the local eateries. Walk up to the abbey, stroll along the piers and collect fossils from the beach, take a ride on the steam train to the neighbouring villages and explore the moors. Please note due to the beach side location of the cottage, there is unfortunately no parking.

The Shoemakers Cottage has undoubtedly one of the best locations in Whitby right at the bottom of the 199 steps tucked in a quiet alley off the cobbled street. A small but cosy romantic cottage over 3 floors close to the harbour, the abbey and very close to Tate Hill Beach. BBQ and picnic basket set provided. Romantic victorian freestanding bath in the main bedroom. Arrival is down the busy cobbled church street. Best location. On-street parking scratch card provided in the W zone 10min walk.

Secret Garden Hideaway occupies one of the most secret locations in the Centre of Whitby at Summer Hills, with a private garden accessed from the St Hildas Terrace behind a stone wall at the top of Flowergate it has guests returning to this wonderful location. First floor is a light airy double bedroom, bathroom. Second floor is twin bedroom and snug with views. Steps up to the cottage.

The Old Forge offers a great location for a relaxing stay in beautiful North Yorkshire.
