The Retreat Cabin on the Lake at Marmutt Woods

Our goal is rest and renewal for our guests so they return home ready to serve others and encouraged to spend regular time in prayer and God's Word. Relaxing is also a part of renewal so on-site activities and the surrounding communities offer plenty of recreation and tourism opportunities. Marmutt Woods is a place to step out of daily distractions to relax and refocus. Even if you are here primarily for some other reason, we hope you'll take advantage of the quiet time and provided materials.

Newly furnished, carpeted and partially renovated cabin is nestled in the woods on the Wisconsin River, this spacious two bedroom, two bathroom home welcomes you to explore the North woods. Whether it's water sports, trail riding, biking, hiking swimming, fishing, day trips to local area communities; fun will be had by all. This two bedroom can easily accommodate 8 people comfortably without feeling overcrowded. The driveway can accommodate 6 parked vehicles or up to 3 vehicles with trailers

Our cottage is a base camp from which to enjoy the beauty of the north woods. Plan your winter to snowmobile, ice fish, downhill or cross-country ski and hike. In summer make it a get-a-way for fishing, kayaking, canoeing, or ATVing. Venture out to the numerous waterfalls, hike the Ottawa National Forest or Sylvania Wilderness, view the scenic Porcupine Mountains, drive through the Keweenaw peninsula. We are located 2 miles from town, on outskirts, semi rural & peaceful , close to trails & Lake Superior!

Relax with friends and family at this peaceful cozy cabin. A perfect 4 seasons cabin on a the ravine river. Enjoy steelhead trout fishing, walking in the woods, winter sports ect. Near Lake Superior. Finn’s bar and grill, and huron bay trading post for groceries and gas. We are a fully furnished cabin with a queen sized bed, full size bed and a twin, with a large sofa and a sofa sleeper full size. A Lazyboy and a dining room table that seats 6

Private setting in the woods close to Phelps. Great for hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, skiing, and snow shoeing or just hanging out with friends and family. A full bathroom with shower. 2 bedrooms with 2 queen size bunk beds sleeps 8. Pets welcome, especially hunting dogs. A circle driveway that accommodates 2 or more boat or snowmobile trailers. We even had a trucker with a 53 foot trailer park here.
