Not only is Dorothy's cabin amazing, Dorothy herself is an amazing host. In the ten plus years I have used AirBnb, I have never had a host provide such provisions; there was a brand new cinnamon and vanilla on the spice rack! I have never had that happen before, usually AirBnb homes have things like that that have been left behind by other renters. The cabin had everything you would need, from snacks to firewood. Dorothy also, without prompting, reached out to ask if everything was okay and if we needed anything. Again, an AirBnb host first for me. The kayaks were amazing to have as Lake St. George is pristine. The beds were comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I would recommend Dorothy's cabin to anyone looking for a fun and peaceful lake get away.

A lovely, classic Maine lakeside camp. I was pleased that it had a heat pump, so although uninsulated, it was easy to keep the place cool even on a hot day. The kitchen was delightfully well-stocked, with coffee, creamers, lots of pots and utensils, everything we needed to cook meals. It was great to have dinner at the picnic table in the back yard. One morning, a Loon was fishing in the quiet pond out front - so peaceful - we heard them calling at night. The screen porch was a beautiful spot to sit.

One thing we didn't realize was that the beds are Sleep Number beds! The remotes are on the bedside table. So I originally thought the bed was very soft, but once Dorothy mentioned they were Sleep Number, I was able to adjust firmness to my preference, which was excellent.

Dorothy was incredibly responsive and communicative throughout, always checking in to make sure everything was OK. I really can't recommend her and her camp enough - I just wish I'd had more time to spend here!

My wife and I loved our weeklong stay at Lazy Days Camp! We kayaked from the property out to the pond and lake - saw loons and a water airplane! Enjoyed a fire pit, and just in general a throwback to a simpler time. All appliances worked well, and Dorothy stocked plenty of kitchen/bathroom/beroom supplies, as well as drinkable water for us. We even loved petting the neighbor's dog, Maggie! This felt like what Maine has been in the past, as contrasted by the upscale, more touristy towns of Bar Harbour and Boothbay Harbor. Liberty was a great jumping off point for places we visited like those previously mentioned, as well as Augusta, Camden and Belfast.

Dorothy is a great host, and we had a nice stay in her very well equipped and supplied cabin. The waterfront views were relaxing and peaceful.
