This tour was undoubtedly the best we have ever taken! We honestly do not know how it could have been any better.
We learned an incredible amount about Ramen. At the ramen factory, Taka-san shared his enormous knowledge and great passion with us. The atmosphere was excellent, and we could ask him many questions at any time. In every explanation, you could sense how much he loves what he does.
Subsequently, we went to Akiko-san's home, where we cooked, ate, and talked about all sorts of things. Akiko-san and her family are incredibly warm-hearted; we felt immediately very comfortable and welcome. And the food? It was simply indescribably delicious!
This day was definitely a highlight of our entire trip. We wholeheartedly thank Akiko-san, Taka-san, and their family for this wonderful experience.

This was without a doubt one of the most memorable experiences I’ve had in Japan.　Akiko greeted us with genuine warmth at Kikuna Station and guided us to her family’s noodle factory, where we saw—and took part in—the entire ramen-making process. Learning how the fresh noodles are crafted and then shaping them by hand was both fascinating and surprisingly fun.
Afterward, we prepared a complete meal together: rich, flavorful ramen, crispy gyoza, fresh salad, and a delicious homemade dessert. Sharing the food with plum wine while chatting with Akiko and fellow guests felt like spending time with old friends.
Akiko’s hospitality, attention to detail, and passion for sharing her culture made the experience truly special.
If you’re looking for something authentic, interactive, and memorable beyond sightseeing, this is an absolute must. Five stars, without question!

ホストのアキコさんは駅前から分かりやすい格好で待っててくれたので迷わずに合流できました。
弟のタカさんが営む製麺所では、他の麺類とラーメンの違いに着目しながら製麺方法を0から教えてくれたので今までぼんやりしていた知識がかなり深まりました。

その後アキコさんの自宅で品数豊かで美味しい料理を食べられたので大満足です、特に自分で選んだ種類・太さの麺を使ったラーメンは絶品でした😋

This was the experience of a lifetime for me! The chance to make your own ramen and prepare it in someone’s home using a multi-generational recipe was one of coolest meals ever!!
