Gil was our guide for this trip. He was very charismatic and fun, and he loved conveying his knowledge of Madeira to us. The tour timing was very nice, and we had plenty of time to enjoy the poncha, wine, and the viewpoints. He really cared about our experience and providing historical context for different parts of the trip. We could tell that he put in a lot of effort to make sure we were comfortable, enjoying ourselves, and learning.

I highly recommend this for a first time tour of Madeira, or if you want a rewarding, shorter tour.
