We had a great time at Big Wave Dave's surfing lessons, and Jamie was a fantastic instructor! It was my partner and I's first ever time surfing, and we had a real learning experience! The free coffee at the end ($7 voucher) was the icing on the cake and so refreshing after a surfing workout.

Some pro tips if its your first time and maybe you haven't hit the gym in a while:
1. try going in the morning. we went in the afternoon and the waves were a little too gentle for us to surf consistently, especially since it was our first time
2. you'll be sore after, but its worth it!

Was very cool

I had a nice surf lesson with Noe, who was knowledgeable and enthusiastic during our time on the water. In addition to explaining the basics, he made sure I caught a few waves both with his help and on my own. The coffee was the cherry on top!

Fun surfing experience and managed to stand up a couple of times!
