The Gardener’s Greenhouse is a peaceful studio on 2 hectares of land overlooking a garden, wetlands and cycle trail beyond. It is on a lifestyle block in a semi-rural subdivision, half way between Motueka and Mapua, with Kaiteriteri, Abel Tasman National Park and Nelson, not much further away. You will need a car to get around. Start your Great Taste Trail here with home baking, a continental breakfast tray for your first morning, free range eggs, seasonal fruit and vegetables from our garden.

A short stroll to city hub, bus depot and Trafalgar Centre, with a supermarket just down the street. The Airport bus stops just around the corner every 40 minutes, seven days a week. It stops near Tahunanui Beach on the way too. NB - you will need a Bee card or cash. Self check-in is offered and early check-in or late check-out can often be arranged.

Modern off-grid accommodation. Our power comes from panels powered by the sun. We have a back-up generator which runs if the batteries have had their power used. Wi-fi + the internet are easily accessible. We have solar heated hot water and we run all the usual household appliances. We are a private estuary island (Manuka Island) but we have drive on access at all times, 25 minutes to Nelson and Motueka. Rabbit Island beach(4km) and Taste Nelson Cycle Trail is a km from our gate. We are central to vineyards, cafes, 3/4 hour to Abel Tasman National park.
