The Flambeau Hideaway, located 20 minutes outside of Mercer, WI, is our 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin that sits on the shores of Lake Bastine, one of the original lake basins located on the west-central portion of Turtle Flambeau Flowage. The Flowage consists of over 14,000 acres &over 90% of the surrounding land is state owned & undeveloped; which gives off that true wilderness feel. So many outdoor activities! That’s the beauty of the Northwoods - snowmobiling, skiing, fishing, hiking LIST GOES ON!

Our cottage is a base camp from which to enjoy the beauty of the north woods. Plan your winter to snowmobile, ice fish, downhill or cross-country ski and hike. In summer make it a get-a-way for fishing, kayaking, canoeing, or ATVing. Venture out to the numerous waterfalls, hike the Ottawa National Forest or Sylvania Wilderness, view the scenic Porcupine Mountains, drive through the Keweenaw peninsula. The Lily Pad on Muskie Lake in Springstead is in the heart of the Northwoods. Come relax, slow down, and recharge. Muskie Lake is a private lake that is almost 100 acres. In the summer we have kayaks and in the winter we are less than a mile from Trail 8 and 8a. There are 7 restaurants within 13 miles, thousands of acres of water, millions of acres of woodlands, XC trails galore, 10 waterfalls in Iron Co, 7 ski hills within 90 minutes, or curl up in the newly remodeled cabin and unwind.

Camp Lattawatta

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Camp Lattawatta (Named as there is a lot-of-water) is a nature lovers paradise offering a quiet retreat surrounded by wildlife. Amber Creek flows around the property, and a beaver dam has been built right in front of the cabin with a perfect view from inside. If you wake up early enough you might be able to spot the beavers working! Additionally, Kayaks can be rented on site to explore the surrounding creeks and marshes.

A short drive can take you to beautiful Winman bike paths or river tubing and an hour north you can find amazing UP ski hills! Accommodates 4 adults comfortably and VERY family friendly!

Honeymoon Cabin- Cozy open concept cabin on a lake

The Honeymoon Cabin at Pine Noel Resort is a cozy cabin set in a serene location with the conveniences of having downtown Mercer just a short walk away. The resort has two docks, row boat, sandy beach, and a swim raft for your enjoyment on the beautiful Grand Portage Lake. The cozy cabin is an open concept space equipped with a king sized bed and an air mattress. Although there are many restaurants nearby, a weber charcoal grill is also provided.

Canoe Cabin in Mercer

Built in 2022/2023 this cabin is located right on the Manitowish River with 750ft of frontage right off Highway 51 about 3 miles south of Mercer and 7 miles north of Manitowish Waters. The Manitowish River runs into the Bear River which is why the resort is named Twin Rivers Resort. We are located right by the snowmobile, UTV/ATV and hiking/biking trails. You can easily visit small local towns with bars, restaurants and shopping.
