During the winter months, is excellent viewing of manatees.

In cold weather the manatee come to warm themselves where the cooling water comes out of the power station. There is a park here with lots of decking and viewing points to see the Manatee.

Mantee viewing platform and sting ray petting station all free. manatees come here in winter months and stay until spring when the gulf water gets warmer. open on weekends only, but during peak season open 7 days a week.
