A really neat hybrid bar/store: Bar/coffee in the front (including some great seats out on the sidewalk for people-watching), mini-market inside with great drinks & snacks.

bar and scandinavian shop (?), pop in if you're in the neighborhood. It's pretty unique and adorable.

Dark, funky bar. Live music Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

There are so many great little bars in walking distance, but this one is a true little gem, the kind of place you only know about if you live nearby. Other spots we like are Homestead, Trick Dog, True Laurel, and Wildhawk.
