Right across the street from The Farmers’ Museum so kill 2 birds with one stone. 1930s neo-Georgian mansion featuring landscape paintings, Native American artifacts, folk art and more. Parking is limited here as well and you can plan to spend 2 hours touring. www.fenimoreartmuseum.org

Wonderful sophisticated small art museum, in a gorgeous location, with a spectacular veranda and views. (We’re a little biased - our wedding reception was on the veranda!) Again, new protocols make it feel pretty safe. The space is large, with few visitors who are instructed to wear masks, keep distance, and walk in one direction.
