Wonderful location the most Westerly cafe, stuck out on Lizard point with seals and great Sunsets. Local cuisine, British, Vegetarian Friendly, Vegan Options. The fresh fish is to die for.

England's most Southerly cafe with the most fantastic view of the coastline from their outdoor seating area high above the old lifeboat station at Polpeor Cove on Lizard Point. Great for breakfast or lunch with an impressive menu. Tip: Drive through Lizard village and towards the point, ignore all the signs for car parks and just keep going until you reach the small unmarked car park outside the cafe. It is a single track road, so drive carefully and the car park may well be full but it saves paying the high price to park by the lighthouse. Otherwise, park on the village green, put a few pounds in the honesty box and walk down to the point. For us, a visit to Cornwall is never complete without a visit to Polpeor, usually for breakfast on our first day. Also check out the cream teas and donuts, but get in early or you might miss them.

We stumbled upon this place on a day out to Kynance Cove and were delighted to discover a little terrace out the back perched on the edge of the cove where we enjoyed the freshest of seafood and met the fisherman who had caught the fish just hours before! The daughter has recently taken over the running of the restaurant from her father and I haven't been since this happened so can't say for sure it's the same but definitely worth a try. Just be aware there is no toilet in the cafe so don't get caught short as it's a little walk away : )

The views are a spectacular and the service is fast. Inexpensive food.. nothing flashy but good quality and good variety on the menu. Cream teas are excellent!
