Anna and Andy are great hosts! "The friendliest little pub around - great food, wine, beer, and views. A true kiwi pub since 1862." Open Tue & Wed 4pm - 10pm, Thu - Sun 12pm - 10pm. Specialise in sharing or tapas style and features a varied list of innovative dishes for you to experience together with friends and family. Family friendly dining outside in the summer. Head to the tables on the north side for alfresco dining and fantastic views over the Cromwell Basin.

A 10 minute walk from the cottage. The Local historic hotel. You are likely to meet grapegrowers, winemakers and a wide range of locals and visitors. Bar, large garden bar with outdoor fireplace, separate restaurant, great views from their outdoor dining space. An extensive wine list. (Booking recommended.)
