Just 30 min north of this stay is a fun beach for everyone young and old. Enjoy local nearby eateries, water activities and stroll along the waterfront. Advised to go early if you’re visiting on a weekend as it can be extremely packed.
This main beach in Barrie within walking distance of downtown shopping and dining, is a great place for families to spend the day. Lifeguards are on duty in the summer. There is a boardwalk, plus pathways that lead North and South around the bay. Paid parking for visitors is $10 an hour, or $50 for the day.
Walking distance to the beach. Grab your towel, sunscreen and chair. Shade from trees but father back. Go early the beach fills up fast in the summer. Water is COLD! Rent Kayak/canoes to rent ($) or bring your own. Floating water park ($). Boat launch for fishing, waterskiing and tubing.
