If you want a kid-friendly restaurant, this is the place to go. The food is American fare, and is decent, but you can't beat how welcoming they are with children.

A perfect family-friendly restaurant. For breakfast, lunch or dinner (and they have a cocktail hour!) It has a great kids menu.
