May 18- September 30 - open daily from 10-5. This modern museum features theatre rooms showing the film footage of the legendary explosion of “Ripple Rock” in 1958. An interactive exhibit showcases the First Nation culture with a mask display. Also, a logging steam donkey, logger’s cabin and replica of the Willow’s Hotel are featured. Through numerous exhibits and an extensive research library visitors can learn the history of northern Vancouver Island.
