Proximity. The map is a bit inaccurate. It is actually on the corner of Main St. and Center St. You can see the train tracks on the map.

MBTA train service from Boston to Hyannis via Cape Flyer runs Memorial Day through Columbus and operates on weekends and on special holidays (July 4th etc) See their website for more info. Also available here: taxis, buses, and free shuttles to ferries.
