A little beautyful lake near Verbania. Clean water to swim , nice village to have a drink and the possibility to walk until the little village of Montorfano, just above the lake.

The most quiet and cleanest lake in Italy. Only electric engine allowed. Don't be fool by the dark colour, it is due to a particular seaweed that grow on the bottom. Rent a kayak and explore it!

Small lake well worth a visit just after Omegna which at at the top of the lake. Nice restaurant in the main square.
