Travel from Ardara through the Glengesh Pass to Glencolmcille. However, highly recommended is a stop as Maghera beach, which has a wild secluded feel to it and sea caves accessible at low tide.

The Glengesh Pass is a windy section of the road that connects Glencolmcille to Ardara. During the drive, motorists can enjoy the farmland, desolate moorland, and tranquil setting. Glengesh (Glen of the Swans) Pass (900 feet above sea level) meanders through the Glengesh and Mulmosog Mountains. The scenery in the area is magnificent. There is a feeling of peace and stepping back in time.

When you travel Ardara to Carrick on route to the highest sea cliffs you'll find this astonishing, deep pass. Very impressive to drive up or down the steep windy road with most amazing few from top
