If this is your first time in Kigali, or you are back but you haven't been here, PLEASE DO! It's a great set museum that walks through one of the toughest events in the country. It will take you half a day, plan in advance!

This place showcases the genocide that happened in Rwanda in 1993. It is an experience of the past that should not be forgotten. It leaves you with a sense of what humanity is all about

Visiting the memorial is an intense experience but a very important thing to do if you wish to understand where the country is coming from and how it got to where it is today. It's a magnificent experience, educative, sobbering, chilling and balanced narrative of the before, during and after genocide. A detailed, neatly and beautifully crafted memorial center.
