Roata (walking distance 11-13 minutes) is a traditional restaurant serving Romanian dishes, wich has a specific, traditional Romanian peasant house design. Guests will receive a small glass of homade moonshine-plum brandy tuica, the traditional Romanian drink.

If you’re looking for traditional Romanian food, definitely try Roata. But be prepared, it’s not the place to go if you’re vegan or on a diet

Best restaurant for trying Romanian cuisine. Try the Beef soup, normal Gulyas or the more expensive Gulyas, from wild boar meat, Tripe soup. As for 2nd course, try the Sarmale with mamaliga and sour cream.
