A luxurious dining experience overlooking the ocean. Gourmet and perfect for a special occasion.
Three places in one for the perfect one-stop progressive dining experience or just get the best of both worlds and enjoy unforgettable world class food in an unconventional rooftop environment! Make a dinner reservation in advance for just after sunset at the Michelin-starred "California Modern"…
Awesome views of the ocean, a great place to grab lunch! Or happy hour and sunset... but bring a jacket if you'll be here after sunset.
Fine Dining - "This three-floor oceanview stunner offers choose-your-own-adventure dining, spanning a casual rooftop terrace, a craft cocktail-focused gastrobar, and an acclaimed fine-dining restaurant. Executive chef/partner Trey Foshee, one of the city’s most admired chefs, keeps each kitchen…
Three-level restaurant that will blow your mind and your taste buds! Michelin-starred kitchen and killer views from each floor. Rooftop Terrace for day to evening dining and drinks al fresco. They are famous for their fish tacos and their lobster roll! Second floor craft cocktail lounge. Famed…
OCEAN TERRACE - Grab a seat at George's Ocean Terrace and catch an unforgettable sunset over the Pacific. Solid cocktails and a fresh menu work very well together.
Panoramic views of the ocean are the best in town. Request seating on the outdoor terrace (don't worry, they have heaters during cold weather). I recommend booking in advance. Great for lunch or a sunset dinner. The fish tacos are awesome!
Skip the food. Get a cocktail and enjoy the spectacular sunset views among beautiful locals in a casual but elegant restaurant/bar in La Jolla.
I would recommend this place for lunch, it is a bit pricey but they views are amazing. After you eat you can take a stroll by La Jolla cove and see wild seals laying on the beach.

“Known among locals for their creative drinks especially bold twists on old favorites, Herringbone brings the outdoors indoors with an atmosphere just as noteworthy as the food. I would describe the menu as Mediterranean favorites combined with seafood classics including even a whole-fish branzino. Highly recommend sitting in the dining area in front of the bar where trees are coming through the floor! Come just for drinks, some great sharing plates or enjoy some of the best seafood in La Jolla. Live Music Thursdays & Fridays 5-7pm and $1 Oyster Hour Tue-Sun 4-6pm and Mondays 4pm-close. ”

“Best fresh seafood restaurant ever! Show up early as they run out of options later the day.”

“Like a lot of La Jolla’s beaches this one is just large enough to spreadout for sunbathing. Winter storms can remove a lot of the sand here so it’s quite different between summer and winter. Windansea is an expert surfing spot and due to rocks and strong currents, it’s not a great swimming area. That said, this is a picturesque beach with sandstone points sticking out into the surf at both ends. At the south end of the beach there is a simple surf shack with a palm roof for shade that has been designated as a historical landmark. There are a couple stairs that descend the steep bluff where you’ll have to scramble down off sandstone ledges if the sand is low. There are a about ten designated parking spots above the beach and street parking spaces if those are taken.”

“There are other locations in San Diego, we just tend to always go to this one. It is our FAVORITE place to take out-of-towners! I would recommend the California and El Pastor burritos but they also have good seafood and vegetarian options. Their salsa is great and serve fresh hot churros too! ”
