Just below Paleokastritsa are the Ermones, it is a dramatically impressive landscape of a bay between two steep slopes on the west coast of Corfu. Many of those who interpret the Odyssey claim that this is the place where Odysseus arrived in distressed shipwreck on the island of Phaeacus and found the beautiful Princess Nafsika and her slaves washing their clothes. But if he arrived now he would find a wide variety of places of high aesthetics and quality to stay !!!.

George's Taverna is serving fresh fish and traditional greek dishes. Located right next to the beach, overlooking the sea and a family friendly atmosphere. George is a very friendly person providing a great service while his wife cooks for guests. They are open until late and the restaurant is one of the best in Ermones.
