A great moderate-to-difficult hike nearby with sweeping views of the gorge. Also a great spot for mountain biking.
Coyote Wall, Lyle, WA - Head South on 141 and East on Highway 14 for about 6 miles to Courtney Rd; trailhead will be on the left - 3.8 miles roundtrip, elevation gain: 850 ft., highest point: 900 ft. offering clear & continual river views even with cloud cover
Coyote Wall Loop Trail is a 6.8 mile busy loop trail on the Washington side of the river. It features a lake and is rated as moderate. The trail is used for hiking, running, nature trips, and mountain biking and is accessible year-round. There's a parking area with pit toilets, and dogs are allowed on leash. The views are gorgeous, but look out for ticks and rattlesnakes (especially in spring), and steep cliffs.

This is a moderate to difficult hike with steep inclines, but gorgeous views and amazing wildflowers to see during springtime. There are many connecting trails and is easy to make into a longer or shorter loop or out and back.
