Walk and sit in this beautifully designed garden and stately home. Great cafe, and plant centre. Award winner.

As a keen gardener I may be biased, but one of my favourite days out includes Scampston Walled Gardens at its heart. Piet Oudolf's garden gets better every year, and is at its best .... at any time of the year, I think! The autumn colours are a surprise, but then again so are the wild flowers on 'the mound' in the spring! There are plant sales all year round, and an excellent cafe. Highly recommended!

A stunningly beautiful contemporary garden designed by the renowned Dutch plantsman, Piet Oudolf. The Garden Café is open during normal garden opening hours and access does not require a ticket to the gardens. Set in a contemporary and light building, the Café looks out over the Walled Garden. The Cafe serves delicious light lunches and cream teas using local produce and seasonal ingredients grown in the garden there.
