Lovely in any season. Particularly great in the summer when all kinds of events take place, including Shakespeare in the Park in early September.

Edgerton, also known as Edgerton Park and Frederick F. Brewster Estate, is a 20-acre public park on Whitney Avenue straddling the New Haven–Hamden town line in Connecticut. It is site of the home of Eli Whitney II. It is a historic park. They have Shakespeare in the Park in summer, family day with games and live pony rides for the children, bonsai club, conservatory and you can even get married on the beautiful grounds.

A beautiful old estate converted to a park. Lots of different species of tree, lush green houses, and community garden plots. Perfect place to have a picnic or read a book.
