Dedicated to the V&A’s collection of toys, from dollhouses and puppet theatres to Lego and action figures, this museum also offers plenty to admire from an adult perspective, from its mosaic floor to art exhibitions. Look for the sensory area, with a sandpit, dressing-up box, and interactive displays like a Victorian kitchen. Make sure that you find the leather rocking horses and take a ride. They have two sizes, with crash-mats all around.

A museum that explores British childhood over the centuries. There are several interactive areas for children to play. It's worth the slightly longer walk to get here. MAY BE CLOSED due to refurbishment.

Currently closed for refurbishment. This museum is part of the Victoria & Albert, but in a separate location and dedicated to all things related to childhood, including extensive collections of toys and dollhouses, with exhibits that will appeal to both young and old.
