Red Rocks Coastal walk starts just at the end of the parade. Highly recommended if you want to see the local marine reserve, wild ocean views and seal colony. Its about 2-3 hours return, depending on your pace (3.7km one way) of easy flat walking.

You should see seals, allow half a day and take lunch! South Coast weather can be wild and windy so dress to the conditions!

See the rugged Southern coastline and unique geology of the region. If you're there at the right time you'll also see seal colonies with their pups (keep a safe distance)

stunning rugged coast line, you may see fur seals. The red coloured rocks were formed 200 million years ago!

The next bay over from Island Bay - walk out to The Gap and see the seals. Spectacular on a good day.
