Nevis Cycles started in the 1980s in a shed and barn operated by Neil Parrish. In 2001 John and Maggie Thompson opened the Inverlochy branch. Andy Slater joined as shop manager in 2008. In 2010 John and Maggie took partial retirement and their son Ben Thompson took on the business. Since then Emma Holgate and John MacEachean have joined as co-owners. The number of staff has expanded to 12. They offer bikes and accessories that they would be happy riding or wearing. Almost all the staff are qualified mechanics to Cytech 2 at least. They have been ranked in the top 10 of the UK cycle trade for our mechanics' expertise. They aim to offer honest repairs at fair prices and will never present a customer with an unexpectedly high repair bill.
