It represents over 150 years of Arizona military history, was constructed in 1929, named after General Alexander M. Tuthill, “the father of the Arizona National Guard”, and is considered one of the finest National Guard training facilities. The Museum Mission is to preserve and present the distinguished history and traditions of the 158th Infantry Regiment, 158th Regimental Combat Team, and current 1st Battalion 158th Infantry Arizona National Guard. Exhibits trace the history of the regiment from its organization in 1865 as the 1st Regiment Arizona Volunteers to 1967 retirement of the Regimental Colors and 2005 organization and Afghanistan deployment of 1st Battalion 158th Infantry.
