Durant is about an hour and 20 minutes away. Lots of cool shopping in the downtown district too. Check hours before making the drive. They do ask a modest $5 fee per person to visit. This mostly covers building maintenance and utilities. If you will be in and around the Duran area, and especially if the weather is not great, this is a good place to visit. Parking is free and is mobility friendly. This museum hosts different themes on a regular basis. It shares, with its patrons, a local history of the Durant area. While not a museum of culture and art, it is a nice place to visit and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.

It houses a collection of artifacts regarding the history of Bryan County from 1873 to present. The best thing about this museum is that it is FREE so no excuse not to stop by for a bit. History Buff???? The Three Valley Museum is a non-profit museum in Durant. With a collection of artifacts regarding the history of Bryan County and being opened in 1976 this is a very historic spot to check out!

Described as a hidden gem, the Three Valley Museum allows visitors to travel back to the 1800s through a variety of incredible displays. Features include an old-time parlor, barber shop, doctor's office, and old cars.
