Mt Konocti is the dormant volcano you can see across the lake from your patio. Hike up Wrights Peak (the tallest peak on the mountain) for a spectacular view of the entire lake and the surrounding mountains. There are several other easier trails to other peaks on the mountain. On clear days, you can see all the way to Mt Lassen. Grab food before or after from one of the Kelseyville spots in this guidebook.

Good hike! Bathroom at beginning and two miles up. Bring water and a snack. There are two benches on the way up and some picnic tables later on up. Attractions : Dormant Volcano Hiking: Mt. Konocti Trail, Wright Peak, Howard Peak, Buckingham Peak. 5413-5553 Konocti Rd, Kelseyville, CA 95451. 24 minutes drive and then walk to the top (13.2miles).

Hike to the top of this extinc volcalo. Rated as difficult.

The most incredible views from the top. Not a easy hike. The trail is wide but steep. Give yourself a few hours. Bring water and food.
