Off the beaten path in Bella Vista, Arkansas, below the Windsor Lake Dam with the entrance being off Highway 340/Lanshire Blvd less than a mile west of Town Center, is the beautiful Tanyard Creek Trail and is a beautiful walk through the natural world of Northwest Arkansas.

As a photographer, I will say this is one of the most beautiful spots we photograph. A big waterfall at the top (coming off the lake) that spills gently down a layered, walkable waterfall into the creek. Bluffs and even a swinging bridge make this a stunning spot to explore. And yes, you are allowed to swim!

Beautiful and so much fun on a hot day. Several trails to get lost on and you can play in the creek to cool off. Take a picnic to enjoy.

One of the few “hikers only” trails in Bella Vista. A short 2 mile loop with a waterfall. Very family friendly and busy on weekends. The Little Sugar mountain bike trails pass right by the waterfall, and you can choose to extend your hike on these trails as well!
