The Plaza is the center of this neigborhood. You can find restaurants and galleries nearby. Also check out the drumming circle on Sundays.

A historic African-American arts district. In the 50's and 60's, many jazz greats performed here. There continues to be a strong art and hip-hop scene, along with some good independent shops, galleries, cafes, and restaurants. Weekends feature local gatherings of musicians, artists, drummers and dancers.
