I usually take people here without any information so I don't ruin the surprise, but this may be a little difficult while I'm out of the country. This unassuming, grungy-looking corner store with no outdoor sign has a secret soda machine in the back that opens up into a high-end clothing store. I've never bought anything, but the experience alone is absolutely worth it. It's right next to the Mapparium but I would look it up on Google to make sure you're in the right place.

A local gem - this sneaker store is disguised as a run down bodega and you enter through a secret door on the coke machine.

Looking for a unique place,at first view looks like a convenience store. But walk to the back, trigger a tile in the floor, and watch as the Snapple machine slides away to reveal a sleek dark-wooded retail space, chock full of some of the most sought-after footwear, designer streetwear, and sportswear around.

The storefront resembles a run down convenience store. If you walk over to the old fridge it slides open to reveal an extremely flashy sneaker store. Awesome experience for shoe lovers.

One of the coolest stores in Boston - very low key, underground almost, walk into unmarked store, walk up to snapple machine, and the sensor slides door over so you can enter the actual store: cool
