Lake Fork is a great place to start the little kids hiking. It follows the Lake Fork of Rock creek and isn’t too steep. There are plenty of places to stop are enjoy the creek. Our girls started hiking here and we still go back every year. Watch for moose along this popular trail.

Lake Fork Trail - to Sept Morn - is such a beautiful hike and SUPER EASY!! Hardly any elevation change - I don’t know why this is moderate - except for the distance (like 8 miles to Sept Morn at least) But 5 miles to Lost Lake and it’s a pretty little lake. You hike all along the river. And there are so many wonderful places to stop. Be sure to see the waterfall on the right-hand side - about 2 miles in - It’s so pretty and so many people miss it.
