Must see. Take the trail to Courthouse Rock. You will not be disappointed. Other sights along this trail include Haystack Rock & Double Arch.

Auxier Ridge offers some of the most stunning views the Gorge has to offer. The trail has a loop option to view courthouse rock and double arch. The loop is long and moderately strenuous, and may not be the best choice for younger children. This trail is usually quite busy, so we recommend visiting on a weekday for the best experience. Also be aware that the road this trail head is located on often closes during the winter, and periodically for repairs. When visiting, you will see the results of an uncontained campfire that devastated parts of the area--a good reminder to practice safe fire-making and leave no trace! Dogs are welcomed, but must remain on a leash.

This is one unique trail. The colors here year round are unbelievable and unexplainable. The entire trail (a loop or out and back at courthouse rock, depending on your preference) follows several "mountain" ridges, meaning the entire thing is gorgeous views. Most of the trail is sand so it's also a good option for wet weather. This is one you do NOT want to miss.

These are hikes that take you to another dimension here in the Gorge. Highly recommend Auxier Ridge Trail.
