A nice little bird sanctuary with a house for nesting barn swallows and plenty of bird boxes for tree swallows and eastern bluebirds. A huge variety of planted hollies and other landscape trees, and a pond with a trail around it. Besides the nesting birds, my favorite attraction is the rare…
An eight-acre coastal plain pond, considered a globally rare natural community attracting over 30 species of dragonflies and rare pond shore wildflowers. The sanctuary is also known for its 1,000 holly trees of 65 varieties.
