Capital of the island, it's worth a visit. It is about 90 minutes by bus. Full of tipical shops and little restaurants, public gardens, museums and a beautiful modern theatre with an armadillo shape.

The Capital is the Capital!! If you have decided to travel to Santa Cruz de Tenerife, here is a list of the places you have to see to enjoy the city to the fullest. Places to visit, restaurants where you can taste traditional Canarian cuisine and beaches to delight yourself with their landscapes and sunsets. The island capital offers a wide range of possibilities to enjoy it from all perspectives. We will begin our tour of the must-see places in the Plaza de España in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, where historic buildings from the late 19th and early 20th centuries coexist harmoniously, gardens with exotic plants and a lake with a geyser that reaches up to 30 meters high. Not to mention its night lighting. Hundreds of chandeliers in the shape of drops of different sizes give it a magical appearance when the sun has already gone down. Vibrant capital of Tenerife. Shopping around Calle del Castillo, enjoy dinner at the La Noria district, the Art Nouveau houses around la Plaza de los Patos and the exquisite avant-garde Auditorium.

A wonderful and beautiful city. With each visit I discover new places and meet interesting people. If you only have a day or two to visit Santa Cruz, you can easily see what is most important. The Palmetum is amazing and has a unique view of the Auditorium. The Museum de la Naturaleza and Arqueology is a compendium of knowledge about volcanoes, the Canary Islands and Guanche. Right next you find Iglesia de Nuestra Senora de la Conepcion and Calle Antonio Dominguez Alfonso. If you still have time, take a walk through the center to Parque Garcia Sanabria, take a look at the nearby villas and find a closed bull arena. If you get hungry, you must stop at La Quadra Del Palmero, and for fans of Canarian cuisine, Bodegon el Puntero (crazy place). If you can stay in Santa Cruz longer, than a day or to, take this opportunity, it's worth it.
