Small beach with a cove that is somewhat protected. What is unique about it is the rock formation that is a “cave” (really more of an overhang), where goldondrinas (which is a bird like the barn swallow) use for nesting.
if you'd like hiking and caves you will definitely enjoy this beach. have fun enjoy.
Located in the Hacienda la Esperanza Natural Reserve in Manatí and steps from the famous Poza De Las Mujeres you can find this wonderful work of nature. To get there you must cross beautiful paths composed of various ecosystems such as forests and mangroves and which will take you about 5 minutes. The cave is a segmented sand formation that serves as a home for swallows and bats in some seasons of the year. It has been used in filming movies and is frequented by many adventurers like us. To enter the cave, its water level is about 4 feet deep. But be careful, this can vary or become dangerous depending on the weather. On many occasions the sea is rough and we want to avoid accidents. I always say that "you have to enjoy everything that nature gives us but always with great respect." On this occasion we could not enter. If you want to continue exploring later you will find another beautiful and small beach. Remember always take care of these places, they're ours!
