If you are heading to or from the city during commuter hours, we recommend taking the BART (metro) instead of traffic, as traffic on the I-80 can be terrible. You can park at this station and head in from there. To pay for parking, memorize your stall number, and then pay at the machine inside the station before you catch your train. Note that parking is free after 3 PM on weekdays and all day on weekends. You can find that train schedule at www.bart.gov

This is the closest stop on the BART train to our Air Bnb. There is paid parking in the lots. You can park on the streets in the surrounding neighborhoods, but be sure to check the parking signs. Some spots are limited to 4 hours.
