Who knew this place existed so close to home? No fee to enter, however, donations are gladly accepted. This is a first rate museum with an extensive collection of cultural artifacts, mainly from the Mississippi civilization, Mayans, and other Native American tribes, but also west Africa, Papua New Guinea, and a few from other places. There is also a larger than life dinosaur that was excavated locally!! Gift shop offers well priced local crafts and jewelry. We were very, very impressed all the way around.
