Vegetarian food is widely available in Malaysia. There is chinese and indian vegetarian mostly. Most indian shops serve both vegetarian and non-veg. For street food, order "kosong" or "mai liao" meanings you don't want the extra like prawn and meat. They will most likely ask if you want egg. Most vendor don't use pork lard as opposed to the old practice where pork lard is a cheaper alternative but do ask for cooking oil if you mind. Most noodle soup however use some kind of animal bones to stew. Back Home serve kinda off more healthy version of meatless meal. It is a relaxing home based restaurant and well worth a visit for lunch or dinner. Don't go too late. The lady owner like to close early as she has a long day already.
