This is the best hike in Big Sky in the summer. It's well known, and thus busy, but it's amazing. A great trail run too.

Amazing long local hike. Please be bear aware, and take water and sunscreen (and some snacks). The top is a beautiful high mountain pond, and grassy area.

Enjoy a long hike into the high alpine and take in an amazing cirque of Rocky Mountains finest! Pack a sack lunch and eat it on the shores of the lake in the basin. Take the polar plunge if you dare!
